It's Cherry Season



Mid-June marks the beginning of Cherry season here in the Pacific Northwest. Normally, the city of Emmett, Idaho would have held their annual Cherry Festival this past weekend. Unfortunately, they cancelled it this year due to current events. But I still have this huge desire to go cherry-picking and eat all the cherry things. The only problem is, they're a heavily sprayed crop. That's why I always opt for organic cherries when I buy them fresh. And I buy them when I can because their season is kind of short.

Cherries can be considered a super fruit because they are so nutritious and also delicious. What's your favorite way to enjoy cherries? I like them fresh straight out of the carton.
